Critical Reflection & Formative Feedback

Week Two Feedback

  • Make sure photos are sent on time.
  • Use metering to my advantage. (F4 - F8)
  • Make sure the lighting is right, brighter isn't always better as it washes out the colour, but if your image is slightly darker you can always lighten it by using the exposure and highlights.

Week Three - Critical Notes

Archiving on laptop

Contact Sheets

I did have one whole other shoot to add to this too however I cannot seem to find it. I am still working my way around bridge, I do keep loosing things on their, but I am getting better at it. I am very pleased with the images I managed to get out of this module. There were lots of bad images, but also experimental ones. The sixth contact sheet down on the right, I decided to let my camera hang down by my waist and take photos as my arms swung by my side as I was walking, on auto. I wanted to see what sort of images I could produce, I think I might like to do a project like that.

I think I defiantly have an eye for a particular eye of detail and I would like to work on that throughout my photographic career.
