Initial Ideas...

Idea One...I plan to map out a route to walk multiple times. 

Walk One - Walking chunks of the Cotswold way surrounding me. I can order a book, ‘Short walks in the Cotswolds’. I can use this to help plan out my route chunks. Some of the Cotswold way route goes through Wotton-Under-Edge,  Castle Combe, and Uley. This is local to me. 

 

 

Walk Two - Select parts of my favourite walks local to me and re walk them at different times of days.

Walk Three - Costal Walks in West Wales. One for example would be Aberporth Beach, Aberporth, Cardigan to Tresaith beach, Cardigan

Idea Two - Banksy 

Growing up I have always had a fascination with Banksy's work. As a family we travelled lots when I was younger and I would try and spot his work where ever we went. 

I realise this is no longer a project I can take on for the time being due to lockdown No.3, however it is something I would like to pursue in the future.

This project would involve researching to find all of Banksy's claimed works and travelling to those destinations. I would speak with the locals and get their take on how the art work affected their community. 

Idea Three - Invisible Illnesses 

Whilst at College I started to look at Invisible Illnesses. I took this path due to being a young carer for my mother who has multiple invisible illnesses including: Fibromyalgia, Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) and many more. I also suffer myself from ongoing invisible illnesses. Through my work i would like to make people more aware of them and that you don't need something physical like a cast or a wheel chair to show people what's wrong with you.

If I were to undertake this project I would create a survey to gain statistics. I am also on certain Facebook support groups where I would ask for help with my project and then also put it on my social media asking if anyone would be willing to help me out with interviews, pictures and or information.

As much as I want to undertake this project at this time and have decided to wait until my 3rd year as I would like to use it for my FMP and dissertation. By leaving this until my 3rd year I feel I can further research in more detail.
